Traffic Management on Wormleighton Road from next week

There will be 2-way traffic lights on Wormleighton Road from Monday 5 June to Saturday 1 July. This is in preparation for the new road layout, we will be installing drainage culverts. These will provide effective rainwater management allowing the free flow of water under the new section of road that will be built here.

In Chipping Warden, we are constructing the Chipping Warden Green Tunnel. A green tunnel, or cut-and-cover tunnel, is where a trench is excavated, tunnel structure built, then the land on top of the tunnel is restored so it blends into the landscape. The tunnel structure is built using precast segments that are produced off-site.
