Deadlines announced as voter registration drive continues

Registration deadlines for the 2019 general election have been published, as South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) continues its annual electoral canvass.

The election has been called for Thursday, 12 December. The council is highlighting to local voters that the deadline to register to vote and the deadline for postal vote applications are both Tuesday, 26 November.

Road Closure - A361 / Welsh Lane cross roads

The road from the village to the A361 will be closed from approx. 8 weeks - November / December to connect it to the new road from the A361.

A drop in session in being organised in the village hall soon, so that village members can voice their concerns with Fusion and Buckingham the contractors.

Council portal puts residents in control

Residents now have the option to receive bills and pay their council tax online following the launch of a Citizens' Portal by South Northamptonshire Council (SNC).

Up till now Council Tax payers were required to print, sign and return direct debit mandates by email or post. They will now be able to complete tasks online at their own convenience.

Roaring success of crisp packet collection point

Nearly 6,000 crisp packets were sent for recycling in the first month of a new collection point at the South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) offices in Towcester.
