*Updated* Road Closure from Aston le Walls to the A361

The road to the A361 will be closed from the 11th May till the end of July 2020. There will be a diversion route signposted, but please allow longer for any journeys. Main Street, Blacksmiths Lane and Appletree Road may become busier, please be careful.

Bin collections continue, but residents asked to double-bag tissues

Core waste and recycling services in South Northamptonshire are continuing as scheduled, but bulky waste collections have been suspended and the Farthinghoe Recycling and Reuse Centre is closed.

SNC is also highlighting current Government advice to those with Coronavirus symptoms to separate tissues and cleaning cloths, double-bag them in tied plastic bags, and leave them aside for 72 hours before placing... Read More »

Update on cross roads closure

Update on cross roads closure

Buckingham the contractors will be doing the Culworth side of the A361 first. So as the sign reads, the Culworth Road will be closed Nov 27th etc.

The road from the village will therefore (until we are told otherwise) remain open until the New Year

Road Closure - A361 / Welsh Lane cross roads

The road from the village to the A361 will be closed from approx. 8 weeks - November / December to connect it to the new road from the A361.

A drop in session in being organised in the village hall soon, so that village members can voice their concerns with Fusion and Buckingham the contractors.

Council portal puts residents in control

Council portal puts residents in control

Residents now have the option to receive bills and pay their council tax online following the launch of a Citizens' Portal by South Northamptonshire Council (SNC).

Up till now Council Tax payers were required to print, sign and return direct debit mandates by email or post. They will now be able to complete tasks online at their own convenience.
